Description
Every year a UK company has to file an Annual Return with Companies House. The form is called AR01. This form is several pages long and asks you to provide the current structure of the company on the date the form is due. Typically you need to confirm the following information:
- Company name and number
- Type of company
- Date the Annual Return is ‘made up to’
- Registered office address
- Location of company registers
- Company Directors
- Company Secretary
- Share holders
- Value and Number of Shares Issued
- The rights attached to the shares
- SIC Code describing the principal business activities
The form can be processed manually by post at Companies House or online using the web filing service. We would recommend that where possible an Annual Return is submitted online.
